Expected processing times
The services related to the certification of pilots (FCL) in the Netherlands were transferred from Kiwa Register (Kiwa) to the Civil Aviation Authority the Netherlands (CAA NL) on 1 June 2025.
According to the Algemene wet bestuursrecht, Awb (General Administrative Law Act, in Dutch), the Government of the Netherlands must make a decision within 8 weeks of receiving the application. CAA NL may extend this period. Read more about the current processing times.
